With over 360 years of combined experience growing and maintaining turfgrass in Ohio, the Green Velvet Team is a proven source for solutions to all of your turfgrass needs.

Here are all of the people who contribute to Green Velvet’s great service and leadership in turf production and distribution. They represent over 360 years of turfgrass experience Put the Green Velvet Team to work for you today!

Randy and Beth Tischer, Owners

Together, Randy and Beth Tischer lead the Green Velvet Turf Team, founded in 1959 by Randy’s father and mother, Ray and Mary. Today, Green Velvet grows over 600 acres of sod and distributes turf, ornamental products, supplies and equipment throughout Ohio.

Andy Berryhill, Delivery

A real farmer at heart, Andy has over 10 years experience delivering and unloading your sod and turf supplies wherever it is needed.

Mike Blair, Special Projects Director

Mike keeps things running smooth – overseeing sod production, irrigation and maintenance. With over 36 years of turf knowledge, he has seen and done it all here at Green Velvet!

Steve Bracken, Sod Production

Steve is in his third year at Green Velvet’s Snider Road Farm, now operating one of our automatic sod harvesters.

Randy Cooke, Sales

Randy has been with Green Velvet for over 23 years. He is found both inside our main office in Bellbrook taking orders, helping customers and keeping our website current, or on the road with outside sales.

Larry Coriell, Sales

Larry holds the record here at Green Velvet with over 29 years of dedication. He handles inventory, orders turf supply products and does outside sales to golf and landscape customers.

Tim D’Aurora, Sod Production

Tim works at our Snider Road farm and operates our big roll harvester, as well as mowing with our big 36’ rotary mower. He’s kept our grass green groomed for over 12 years.

Len Dunaway - Sales

Len may be new to the Green Velvet team but he’s not new to the turf industry. He brings over 36 years of golf course experience and equipment sales. He now leads our sales team with expertise and enthusiasm.

Mark Fields, Delivery

Mark is the newest member of the Green Velvet team joining us in the Spring of 2010. Mark combines a great sense of humor with fast, friendly service as he delivers Green Velvet turfgrass sod and landscape supplies to jobsites throughout Ohio.

Rob Foster, Sod Production

Rob is our number one Automatic PITA harvester operator! He makes sure the quality of each roll of sod is perfect, as well as maintaining each PITA machine. Rob has been with Green Velvet for over 13 years.

Craig Fryman, Sales

Craig has been selling to the Golf and Turf industry for over 21 years. He started here in high school loading sod, now he’s on the road selling it and our other great products.

Mark Gilbert, Sod Production

Mark has been in turfgrass for the better part of his life. He brings over 38 years of experience to Green Velvet. Today Mark does it all, including tillage, harvesting and maintenance at our Snider Road farm.

Mark Hackley, Delivery

Mark has been one of our delivery drivers for over 14 years. He goes out of his way to make sure all of our customers receive exceptional service with every order he delivers.

Joyce Hupman, Operations

Joyce has been a member of our office team for more than 25 years. She is involved in order taking, invoicing, and receivables and is happy to take your call.

Randy Ralston, Delivery

Another team member who has done and seen it all at Green Velvet. Randy’s been here over 25 years. He drives a delivery truck, spyder forklift, and anything else we throw at him.

Scott Robinson, Sales

Scott has over 37 years of experience in the turfgrass industry. He is on our sales team sharing his wealth of turfgrass knowledge, providing solutions to the needs of our golf, lawn care and landscape customers.

Mike Spicer, Inside Sales & Scheduling

Mike has been with Green Velvet for over 7 years now. He works at the main office in Bellbrook and is most likely the voice you here answering each call with your turf questions, orders and delivery scheduling.

Rocky Siefert, Customer Service & Scheduling

Rocky knows turfgrass, having spent over 10 years growing , harvesting and delivering Green Velvet products to our customers out of our Snider Road production farm . Rocky now concentrates on customer service and scheduling deliveries at our main office in Bellbrook

Doug Swope, Farm Manager, Snider Road

Doug is our North Dayton-Springfield farm manager. Doug has been with us at Green Velvet for over 22 years. He is knowledgeable from all aspects of turf production to sales and customer service.

Eric Wehrman, Sales

Eric joined our sales staff in the Fall of 2011. He brings over 15 years of turfgrass knowledge and experience to the Green Velvet Team. Eric will be calling on our lawn care, landscape and golf course customers in the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky areas.
