  • 1985 Randy Tischer elected present of the Ohio Sod Producers Association
  • 1989/1990 Randy Tischer is the youngest person to serve as president of the American Sod Producers Association (now known as Turfgrass Producers International) which represents the sod industry
  • 1994/1995 Randy is elected president of the International Turfgrass Producers Foundation, a non-profit organization devoted to funding research for the sod industry
  • 2000 Randy Tischer is elected president of the Ohio Turfgrass Foundation
  • 2002 As president of the Ohio Turfgrass Research Trust, Randy Tischer remained and currently serves on the board.
  • 2004 The Turfgrass Producers International honored Randy Tischer with the Distinquished Service Award. Randy is one of only 3 recipients, world-wide, to date
